I love designing note card sets for gifts. I always start off with reflecting about the person and what I like best about their personality. I think about what color palette would that person be? Then I create a set that matches their personality. I want to create a card that when you open it you know immediately who it’s from because that person’s smile comes through or you feel their warm hug of thanks just by the small note written inside. It’s so special that you want to keep it on your window sill for weeks.

This smart little bag from Papyrus caught my eye. The font is such a good choice in that it screams canvas, also the western flare of the font ties in nicely with the rope handle. Along with this bag I’d like to put a shout out for envirosax. These reusable bags are smashing and have such hip designs. They are designed so well that you just can’t wait to pull them out at the grocery store and use them!

This weekend we attended a small wedding at Central Park Chapel in Holland. It was a delightful little chapel along Lake Macatawa. The screen windows let the breeze in and the old fashioned pews were very lovely. It’s nestled amongst some quaint cottage homes. A wonderful spot for a romantic summer wedding.
